Under Armour

I’m someone who’s been pretty active my whole entire life. Gymnastics, dance, swim, and run, I love the idea of being fit and strong. I don’t do my daily 10km runs anymore but I do still workout at a healthy level.

I don’t know about you, but I really hate it when gyms have the air-conditioning at full blast. I’m freezing when I enter the gym, it takes ages to warm up my muscles and probably a long time later before I break into a sweat. At the end of the workout, I freeze up almost immediately again.

Under Armour’s ColdGear actually works for me. It is really meant for the colder climates, but when you have a gym that functions like a giant freezer, you know you can use it. The double-layer fabric helps to wick moisture away from the wearer’s skin and circulate body heat. So it’s almost like having heat packs on you but minus the bulk and weight. If you’re training outdoors, in this scorching weather, there’s HeatGear that serves to cool you down. The fabric wicks sweat away from the body, filters it through the material, where it is quickly evaporated away.

Function, comfort and design can really go hand in hand. I personally love the bright cheerful colours that are available. Colours are mood dictators after all. So, go ahead and power up your workout.
