Of White Canvas and Prints

I figured it was time to look for a new pair of white canvas shoes. The pair that I have now is old and seasoned, though it was meant to look like that when I bought it – old and seasoned. But that’s besides the point. If a pair of shoe has made it on my favourite list, I can wear it out pretty quickly. Trust me, I can wear that same pair everyday. Almost everyday.

I’ve always preferred white shoes somehow, I think they just seem to go with anything that I put on. It works well especially on lazy days when I don’t want to think too much or plan my outfit. That’s quite often if you ask me.

So I set out to look for that pair of new canvas. White. Comfortable. Nice.

Murphy’s Law. When you set out to look for something, that something just seems to elude you. Suddenly, all the white canvas shoes disappeared. I was thinking to myself, I remember seeing them all over the place not too long ago. I found a few pairs that I didn’t exactly like and not what I wanted.

I’m glad I didn’t give up, because soon enough, I chanced upon this. I think it’s pretty cute. It definitely has the likes of “happy shoes”. It’s not totally plain white canvas, but when you have prints like this, it’s a definite welcome to your existing collection.
